What is Go Amber?
Go Amber is a Pieta fundraising initiative that encourages SME’s and communities across Ireland to get involved in fundraising for Pieta this autumn. Our goal is to unite small and medium-sized enterprises and communities throughout Ireland to be a collective force for positive change. Our mission revolves around extending our lifesaving services to children, teenagers, and adults who seek our support, powered by the compassion and backing of individuals and businesses just like yours.

When is Go Amber taking place?
Go Amber is taking place between 10th of September (World Suicide Prevention Day) and 10th of October (World Mental Health Day) in 2023.
I am a SME business owner and I’d like to get involved; what do I need to do?
Sign up to Go Amber by clicking the start a fundraiser button; this will register your fundraiser. Once you have signed up, kick start your fundraising journey by sharing your fundraiser page amongst your audience on social media. Remind them you are fundraising for Pieta by utilising our fundraising tools in-person or online.
I am an employee in a small business, and I’d like to get involved; what do I need to do?
If you are employee of a small business, you can still sign your business up simply by clicking the start a fundraiser button to register your fundraiser. You can help your business promoting your Pieta fundraiser by utilising our fundraiser tools.
How will I fundraise?
There are different ways you can fundraise; for an idea, please see some ideas below.
- Host a fundraiser within your business that involves your staff and customers. Your event can become a beacon of hope that radiates throughout your community.
- Contribute directly to our cause through a one-time donation, organize a drive day to collect funds from your employees, customers, or community, or pledge a percentage of your profits to help us reach our goals. You can also donate a portion of proceeds from a specific product, good, or service.

Why raise money for Pieta?
Over 80% of our funding comes from donations and fundraising efforts, making the support of individuals and businesses like yours essential to our mission. Your involvement will allow us to continue providing our vital services for free and, in doing so, creating a safe space for those impacted by suicide and self-harm in their community.

Yes! We’re happy to chat to you about donations and accomodate donation via phone. Just call our free phone number at 1800 14 14 14 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
